One boy swings on a rope off a cliff. Another is in mid-air diving off
a large rock and another stands watching. Still another swims while watching
the diver. Six ducks in the water, also watching. It is a lush green landscape
and sparkling blue water (cold) and four boys have cut school in order
to have this adventure.
"Winter Sleigh Ride", acrylic on wood, 1974, 16x20" (s)
$1700.
A large brick house with all of its stoves fired up predominates the composition.
A lone girl inside the house watches a group of children on a large sleigh.
A large snowman looks on, and it is snowing lightly. Another sleigh pulls
up the rear and the weathervane on top of the big house gives us our bearings.
