"Click |> button to hear track #1, 'Reflections'" by J. Norman Stewart
What we have here is a new music CD released by composer and keyboardist, J. Norman Stewart. It is titled "Reflections ~ Classical Improv" and has just been released at this very moment. He thought that it would be fun to have it debut on Craigslist and EBAY, even before it goes to CD Baby, Amazon.com and Itunes. Stewart's four other cd's: "Peruvian Suite", "Piano Abstract", "Songs for Valerie", and "Quiet Elegance" are available on CDbaby.com, Amazon, Itunes and even Walmart.com as mp3 downloads. If you google "J. Norman Stewart" you will see most of them. John is a self taught musician, and doesn't read a note of music, but has been playing since the age of seven. His music has jazz, classical, gospel and foreign influences. He likes to experiment with synthesized sounds, but also spends a lot of time at his Schimmel concert grand piano. Back in the 60's he played in clubs around the Los Angeles area with his own duo and trio. He currently lives in Northern California and plays at his church, coffee houses, restaurants, weddings, fashion shows and retirement homes. He especially likes to play jazz standards and broadway and movie themes. |
